We are pleased to participate in Art Osaka for the first time. A pieneering figure in the field, Yukiko Koide has organized numerous exhibitions on "Outsider Art", including Bill Traylor (Ginza Art Space, 1992), Judith Scott (Shiseido Gallery, 2001), Henry Darger (Laforet Museum Harajuku, 2011), among others. In 2003 she opened a gallery space in her Tokyo office, with an aim to introduce unique yet undiscovered works from home and abroad. The focus of this year is Creative Growth, the oldest and the largest art center for adults with disabilities in the United States. Through tireless efforts over the past 40 years, Creative Growth has marverously bridged the two distinct genres of art and disability.
