Since established in 1962 autumn, galerie 16 has been operated as a contemporary gallery until today.
It always involves in the representation marking an epoch in that periods as aim and end.
Especially, it respects high-quality representations that were seen in exhibitions at the times without having exile to the past. Then “BACK AND FORTH ” the exhibitions were held 12 times to reconsider focusing on it, during the 1990s.
On the other hand, galerie 16 has been held solo and group exhibitions of young artists that began to use unique expression.
