ASHIYAGARO kyoto
Under the direction of Shoko Kitagawa ASHIYAGARO has been actively promoting work of contemporary art. ASHIYAGARO presents contemporary artists, both in Japan and from abroad, whose identity and originality mark our epoch. In July 2016 after 17years from its inception in 1999 ASHIYAGARO has moved to Kyoto from Ashiya, a city renowned for its cultural environment.
