ART OSAKA 2019

ART OSAKA 2019 will hold its 17th installment, on the weekend of July 6th and 7th (preview on Friday, July 5th) on the 26th floor of Hotel Granvia Osaka. The venue is directly accessible from JR Osaka station.

ART OSAKA is one of the biggest art fairs in Japan with a focus on contemporary art. This year, 54 galleries will participate, from both Japan and abroad (23 from the Kansai region, 26 from the non-Kansai regions, 4 from Taiwan, and 1 from Korea). 7 galleries will participate in ART OSAKA for the first time. 69 hotel rooms will be turned into exhibition booths.

The most appealing aspect of this fair is that a wide range of artworks from painting, sculpture, photograph, print, to installation by upcoming young artists, mid-career artists and internationally renowned artists are presented in the hotel rooms. The guests can purchase works they like on the spot. How about building a new relationship with art by starting your own art collection?
