Yusuke Shikano was born in 1992 in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, and graduated from Creative Arts, Meisei University in 2015. Shikano is expanding his range of expression with solo exhibitions at the Nakanojo Biennale/Yamase (Jinbo Family Residence) (Gunma) in 2019 and Public Aortic aneurysm/ Seseraginosato Museum (Tokyo) in the same year.
Shikano creates works that connect ‘things around us’ with ‘things that are not around us’, and for this reason she states that the images of ‘+/- 0’ and ‘offsetting’ wander close to her thoughts.
