EUKARYOTE

EUKARYOTE is an art gallery which has been established in Jingumae, Tokyo, in 2018.　EUKARYOTE is one of the two major domains of living organisms on earth, and in Latin it means an organism whose cells contain a nucleus. Just like how since the beginning of life two billion years ago there has been a repetitive cycle of evolution and extinction, art as well has repeatedly metabolized internally.
EUKARYOTE, with the concept of something more than an occurrence of art, an ever spinning contemporary coin of tangibility and intangibility, and its essence, proactively accepts artwork and artists who hold this universal value which has been left behind.
