GALLERY SEKIRYU

Established in 1995 in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. The gallery added another location in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, in 2009. We focus on both the work of contemporary artists and the work of artists who have passed away, organizing exhibitions and collecting artwork.
As a good representative and companion for artists, we approach artworks—often those that take time to be appreciate—from a long-term perspective. We also explore the intersection between daily life and art, constantly rethinking the role of the gallery in this context.
