GALLERY ZERO opened in Osaka in 1993. We has been exploring the possibilities of Japanese contemporary painting since the 1990s with the addition of artists such as Masahiko Kuwahara and Yoshie Sakai, who have been leading Japanese contemporary painting since the 1990s, the next generation artists Naoko Yabe and Takeshi Hosaka, the even younger Asuka Yokono and Taishi Nishi since 2016, and Tomoko Arakawa since 2024. We also focuses on the work of Yohei Nishimura, who bridged the gap between ceramics and contemporary art from the 1980s.
